A rendering of the Pixel 4a has recently been leaked on the website of Google Store. The launch would be soon ?
In 2019, the Pixel 3a has been introduced by Google at their conference I/O. But given that the edition 2020 of this event has been cancelled because of the pandemic, we still don’t know when Google might unveil the Pixel 4a. In any case, in the meantime this presentation, the leaks and the rumors about this device are already many on the web.
And the last flight to date has been published… by Google. According to the site Android Police, and 9to5Google, Google seems to have published by accident a rendering of the Pixel 4a on the website of the Google play Store. The image was displayed on a location which is normally destined for the Nest Wi-fi. It is likely that a manager of the web site has confused links or files, which has led to this accidental release.

First of all, this leak can make us think that the launch of the Pixel 4a by Google could be imminent, even though many sources indicate that the firm could launch its new smartphone mid-range in August. But in addition to that, the render also shows some of the information that has been published by non-official sources.
The mid-range of Google ?
Obviously, the Pixel 4a will have a plastic shell, there will be a jack for the headphones. The screen will be borderless and the front camera will be placed on a drilled hole on this screen. On the back, there would be a camera. And the fingerprint scanner will not be included in the screen, but placed on the back.
A priori, Google will not have the Pixel 4a of its radar Soli (on the Pixel 4, the component allows to control the smartphone without touching the screen). And the device has nothing really exceptional about the plan hardware, even compared to other smartphones mid-range. According to some rumors, the Pixel 4a would have a Snapdragon cpu 730.
But of course, it is best not to make a final opinion on this device before the official presentation. Google could always compensate for any shortcomings of hardware of its devices through software. It is also possible that the firm of Mountain View have changed strategy, and that it wants to offer smartphones less expensive compared to its previous models.
