Prague – In the preliminary round of the hockey extra league playoffs, Liberec will play Pilsen, champion Třinec will play Litvínov, Kometa Brno will play Mladá Boleslav and Olomouc will play Karlovy Vary. The series starts on Wednesday and is played on a three-game winning streak. They will determine the quarter-final opponents for the winners of the basic part Pardubice, the second Vítkovice, the third Sparta and the fourth Hradec Králové.
