Ostrava – Ostrava footballers lost 0:2 to Hradec Králové at home in the 21st round of the first league. Michal Leibl and Matěj Ryneš decided Baník's third loss in a row with their goals. Slezány did not score at their stadium for the sixth time this season and are eleventh in the table. “Invaders” won after three rounds and returned to fifth place. Hradec won on Ostrava's soil for the first time in a separate top competition.

After two defeats, Baník sent teenager Šín and Albanian stopper Bitri into the game for the first time since the beginning, but it did not bring about a big change in the game performance of the home team. Ostrava lacked a faster final phase that would have surprised the organized and formed defense of the opponent.
Because Hradec didn't rush forward, Ostrava was a rather boring spectacle with no goal-scoring situations. However, the visitors helped themselves with a standard situation and in the 23rd minute Leibl opened the scoring with a header from a corner. Ostrava was struggling, and the goal conceding intensified its helplessness.
After one of the few counterattacks, Kuzmanovič beat Bajza, but he was offside and the goal was disallowed. Tijani seriously threatened the visiting goalkeeper for the first time in the first half, but Bajza reflexively pushed his header in front of him.
In the 54th minute, the home side had a vertical action and the spectators were already raising their hands to their heads, but Tijani kicked an empty goal from the small goal after an ideal pass from Klím. Even after the unchanged “tutovka”, Ostrava revived for a while and pushed Hradec. But in the 70th minute, there was a misunderstanding in the home defense and Lischko's loss, which was immediately punished by Ryneš with the second goal.
The Ostravas already had the recovered gunner Almási on the field, but the end even with him froze in spasm. Hradec defended its lead with its second spring away win. The East Bohemians won only the second of the last eleven mutual league matches.
