Ostrava – Criminal investigators accused his partner 20 years younger of Tuesday's murder of a forty-five-year-old man in a hotel in Ostrava. According to the police, she attacked him with a knife or similar instrument, the police arrested her on the spot shortly after the crime. Moravian-Silesian police spokeswoman Soňa Štětínská told ČTK today.
“Regional criminal investigators have initiated criminal prosecution of a woman for the particularly serious crime of murder. The woman attacked her mate with a stabbing tool on Tuesday around 4:00 p.m. The attack, which took place in a room in one of Ostrava's hotel buildings, was preceded by a verbal and physical conflict. The victim died as a result of his injuries,” said Štětínská.
The police arrested the suspect on the spot. They asked the public prosecutor to take her into custody. If convicted of murder, she could spend up to 18 years in prison.
