Kvitfjell (Norway) – The Austrian skiers dominated the super giant slalom of the World Cup in Kvitfjell. Nina Ortliebová won before Stephanie Venierová and Franziska Gritschová.

The seventh place was occupied by Mikaela Shiffrinová, who secured her fifth triumph in the overall ranking of the SP in Saturday's convention. The American star is still waiting for the 86th victory in his career and equaling the record of Swede Ingemar Stenmark.
Twenty-six-year-old Ortlieb claimed her second victory in the WC. The only success of the reigning world vice-champion in the downhill so far was the triumph in the super giant slalom in La Thuile in February 2020.
Venierová lost 12 hundredths, Gritschová was 38 hundredths behind. Austrian female skiers took control of the podium in the WC for the first time since January 2009, when the trio of Kathrin Zettelová, Michaela Kirchgasserová and Elisabeth Görglová dominated the giant slalom in Cortina.
Before the final race in Soldeu in less than two weeks, Elena Curtoniová leads the super-G standings with 332 points. In addition to the Italian representative, four other skiers have a chance to win the small globe: Swiss Lara Gurová-Behramiová (313 points), Austrian Cornelia Hütterová (307), Ragnhild Mowinckel from Norway (306) and Italian defender Federica Brignone (288).
