Prague – Nigerian striker Muhamed Tijani from Ostrava, the author of eleven league goals from last season, joined the players of Slavia Prague at the training camp in Austria. The clubs are fine-tuning the terms of his transfer. Slavia informed about it on its official website.

Slavia and Baník are also negotiating the departure of Brazilian midfielder Ewerton to the Ostrava team, where he should work in the new season. He is also already training at his future workplace.
Twenty-two-year-old Tijani came to Baník in 2018 and signed a professional contract a year later. He started playing football at the 36 Lion club, where other Slavia players Peter Olayinka, Yira Sor and Moses Usor also worked. He also went through Nigeria's youth national team selections, in 2019 he played at the Under-20 World Cup.
In the past league season, the 191-centimeter-tall Tijani played in 32 matches and scored eleven times. He scored eight goals in the final phase of the year, when Baník was fighting to avoid the play-offs.
