Prague – Today, the 31st edition of the international tourism and regional tourism fair Holiday World & Region World begins in the Letňany area of PVA Expo Prague, and will last until Sunday. Those interested will be able to view tour offers from domestic and foreign sellers, get to know the latest news in the tourism industry or attend musical performances from exotic countries. The first day of the event is intended only for experts, the fair will open to the public at the weekend, the organizers informed in a press release.

“After years, Japan returns to Holiday World & Region World and, after the absence of covid, Egypt, Jamaica or Saxony. Visitors will also see exhibits from new resorts of Portugal and Hungary, and the offer will be presented by several specialists from Georgia or the traditional destinations of Morocco, Tunisia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand or Peru,” the organizers said.
This year also wants to commemorate 30 years since the division of Czechoslovakia, at the fair thus, interested parties will be introduced to a number of domestic and Slovak tourist spots. The event will also take place in parallel with the Around the World festival, which will offer lectures from a number of travelers or photographers, and the For Boat and For Caravan fairs, which will present news and trends in the field of motorhomes, boats, jet skis or water sports.
At the fair, they will also announce the results of the survey entitled Region of my heart about the most popular Czech region and the 2022/2023 Tourism Grand Prize, in which the competition for the best tourism product or the best sustainable project will take place, the organizers informed.
