Munich (Germany) – At the Munich Security Conference, which continues for the second day today, US Vice President Kamala Harris and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will make speeches in the afternoon. Already on Friday, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron addressed the guests at the beginning of the meeting, both strongly criticizing the Russian military invasion of Ukraine.
In the morning, the high-ranking Chinese diplomat Wang I will deliver a speech to the conference participants, the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will also take part in the panel debates.
The program in Munich also continues with the Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský and President-elect Petr Pavel will both attend breakfast with Polish President Andrzej Duda. In the morning, Pavel will meet with Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söderen and in the afternoon with the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk.
