The PDI confirmed a second detainee for his alleged involvement in the femicide of a 21-year-old girl in Quilpué, whose body was burned and showed signs of strangulation. Sernameg confirmed that it will file a complaint in this case.
The Homicide Brigade of the Investigative Police (PDI) of Valparaíso arrested the second person allegedly responsible for the femicide of a 21-year-old girl, Michelle Ayala Martínez, in Quilpué.
On the verge of formalizing charges against a 22-year-old man, with the initials L.A.L.M., for Michelle's femicide, the National Service for Women and Gender Equality confirmed that it will file a criminal complaint.
Vaninna Masman, regional director of SernamEG, said that they contacted the victim's family to offer their legal representation.
“We have made all our resources available to the family to offer justice and offer the necessary reparation,” Masman explained.
The 21-year-old woman, mother of two children, was found dead in Quebrada Pompeya, in the Quilpué commune, with her burned body and signs of being strangled.
A woman of the woman's friends, who did not give her name for security reasons, questioned the background of the relationship between the victim and the accused.
“He was a person who was toxic, manipulative, he did not let her have social networks, he left her at home, they had problems with domestic violence (…) they had separated, he could not accept that he had another relationship&# 8221;, said the girl's friend.
