This Tuesday emergency teams worked to rescue a man who suffered a fall while climbing Cerro Las Peinetas in Curarrehue. From the Fire Department they said that he “at the moment he manifests or has a fracture in his left arm, with blows to his head from the fall.”
Volunteers from the Fire Department of Curarrehue and Pucón, in La Araucanía, worked to rescue a man who suffered an accident while climbing Cerro Las Peinetas.
The information was released by the commander of the Fire Department of the Andean commune, Sebastián González.
“The alarm center was informed of a male person, who he would have suffered a fall as a result of climbing. The person would have fallen from about four meters high; He is approximately between 22 and 25 years old”, González said.
He also said that “at the moment he manifests or has a fracture in his left arm, with blows to his head as a result of the fall“ 8221;.
The commander of the Fire Department said that “Curarrehue firefighters from the first company worked at the scene, together with the Pucón Fire Department, the same first company, to rescue this person to a safe place”.
After the rescue teams descended, this injured person was transferred to the Cesfam de Curarrehue, and later to a higher resolution health center.
