Prague – Tickets for the Bouldering World Cup, which will take place from June 2 to 4 in Letná, Prague, are on sale. The organizers informed about this in a press release. Local star Adam Ondra is also preparing for the WC in sport climbing, which will return to the Czech Republic after fourteen years.

At the end of February, representatives of the International Climbing Federation (IFSC) inspected the site of the race on the Letenská plain. “We presented them with the complete project as well as the technical details around the area. The people from the federation were excited, because during their visit we clearly proved to them that the World Cup has rightfully returned to the Czech Republic,” said Viktor Valta from the Sport Invest Marketing agency, which together with The event will be organized by the Czech Mountaineering Association.
For Ondra, the World Cup in Prague will be preparation for the Olympic qualification, which awaits him in the summer. “After fourteen long years, the world's top climbing event is returning to the Czech Republic, and Letenská pláň is a more than worthy arena for the world's best in bouldering. I'm really looking forward to it! I believe the fans are too,” said the bronze medalist in bouldering from last year's EC in Munich.
Last year, the European Cup was held in the Czech Republic in this discipline and Ondra won it. Another Czech representative, Eliška Adamovská, took sixth place. This time, the qualification of both categories is scheduled for Friday, June 2. The men's semi-final and final will take place on Saturday, June 3, and the women's competition will culminate a day later.
Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketlive.cz. In the first phase, packages for the whole weekend went on sale, costing from 890 to 1690 crowns for an adult and from 490 to 1290 crowns for a child. “However, the number of tickets at these prices is limited. The price is the most favorable at the start, it will gradually increase a little. After the first batch of tickets is sold out, the price of the best tickets will rise to 1,800 crowns for adults and 1,400 crowns for children, and the cheaper ones will also rise category,” said Valta.
