The Premier League finally has a date for resumption. On 17 June, teams from the british championship will land after three months of interruption due to the pandemic of sars coronavirus. Due to sanitary measures, this return will be made, however, behind closed doors, which poses a real headache for the organizers.
Silence can be quite disturbing for the audience accustomed to the warm atmospheres of the days of matches. To remedy this lack, the broadcaster Sky Sports has decided to join to the teams at EA Sports working on FIFA 20 to re-create sound effects and songs to mimic the atmosphere of a meeting of the Premier League.

This feature would be offered to subscribers on an optional basis. The chain is also preparing for other options in order to make the follow-up of the matches more enjoyable and immersive. The users will be able to follow the meetings in a virtual way with their friends and interact, their actions will have an influence on the noise of the false public.
Interviewed by The Verge, Rob Webster, the director general of sports of the string that is returned on this device : “We want the viewers of Sky Sports will always live intensely the matches and have the best experience possible – even if they can’t be in the stadiums or watching them with their family and friends. “
British television is not the only one to initiate this type of project. Its German counterpart, Sky Deutschland does the same for the Bundesliga. A team of several people recovers the songs of the previous meetings to attempt to recreate the atmosphere in a realistic way. Yamaha has also created a device to reproduce the reactions of a live audience using a mobile app.
The innovative ideas are not lacking and should allow fans in lack of sensation to hold out until they can actually trace the stands.
