“It’s over”””” Damien Viel, CEO of Twitter France, announced stepping down from his social media duties, without specifying whether it was his decision or not, after “seven incredible and intense years”.

“Pride, honor and mission accomplished. Goodbye #twitterfrance. What an adventure! What a team! What encounters!” tweeter.
“All my thoughts to the tweeps&rdquo ;
His previous post dated back to November 4 when Twitter, acquired by Elon Musk shortly before, had started a global wave of layoffs. “All my thoughts, respect, energy and love to the tweeps around the world today. Together we have built the most amazing app on the planet,” he wrote.
This departure comes as the future of the social network to the blue bird seems very uncertain after a week as turbulent as the previous ones, between new bleeding in the workforce and the reinstatement of Donald Trump’s account, a source of controversy.
C’est fini 🫡 Fierté, honneur et mission accomplie. Au revoir 🇫🇷. Quelle aventure ! Quelle equipe ! Quelles rencontres ! Merci à tous pour ces 7 années incroyables et intenses💙.
