After two years of absence, Vianney sign his return with the title ‘Don’t wait’ ! While the artist is working on his third album, he told the Parisien on his break, and the warning he had received when he had decided to leave the scene.
After a long absence, Vianney is well and truly back ! If the singer of 29 years had felt the need to put his career on pause, to focus, some people in the world of the stage had given him a warning : leave your fans for too long could be fatal for his career. In an interview granted to the Parisian, the interpreter of ‘I am‘ explains : “Around me, there was a blaze of burn-out. Mini-Avicii. It’s really sad… And shameful. Even during my break, some people in the business told me that it should not be too long. This is not the responsibility of the artists, but their entourage from seeing the horizon coming to the storm. To us, it is in the machine. There must be a setting that says ‘this is too much’.“
If Vianney was not news to his fans, but he’s spent a lot of time to work on his back, and on his third album. For le Parisien, he said : “I recorded a lot of things, I write more, I’m going to save it until the end of the summer. I keep coming back because I have things to say, I was on a trip and I want to tell. An album, it’s an adventure with lots of unexpected expenses. I really works alone, it takes me time, but it is my happiness to look for the good mic, a good sound, learn to write the parts of the strings. My only certainty is that I’m preparing this album as if it was the last of my life.“
Why the singer had he taken a break ?
In January 2019, Vianney, surprised his fans by trusting his desire to withdraw from social networks and from the scene in order to find a calmer life. Today, the singer explains : “I needed to cut, bring me closer to me closer that I could see less, sleep at home, to become a spectator of the world, short of a return to normal life. I was caught up in a hurricane of happiness and love, things owls, but I was tired of myself.” Considering not be done for a life where he is constantly the center of attention, Vianney says : “I’ve never wanted to be a star.“
