Oberhof (Germany) – Tereza Voborníková and Michal Krčmář finished fourteenth at the Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof mixed relay race. The Czech representatives paid for Krčmář's three penalty rounds, for which they had to reload thirteen times at the shooting range.

The favored Norwegians Johannes Thingnes Bö and Marte Olsbuová-Röiselandová won. World Cup leader Bö won his fifth gold medal at the championships in Germany, setting a new men's record. Thanks to her thirteenth overall triumph, Olsbuová-Röiselandová became independent at the head of the women's tables ahead of the German Magdalena Neunerová.
The best result of the Czech representatives in the discipline at top events to date remains the ninth place from 2019. At that time, Eva Puskarčíková and Ondřej Moravec.
