Linz – Markéta Vondroušová flew to the quarterfinals of the indoor tournament in Linz in an hour. The Czech tennis player outclassed her opponent from the qualification Rebeka Masárová from Spain 6:1, 6:1 in the second round.

Olympic silver medalist and former Roland Garros finalist Vondroušová had the first match against the daughter of a Spaniard and a Slovak under control. “After much deliberation, we and the team decided to listen to the doctor's advice for me to undergo another examination and take it easy. Therefore, unfortunately, I will not be able to play this week,” said Siniaková. Her place in the spider was taken by Clara Tauson from Denmark.
