Meghan chose a dress stunning Givenchy to her wedding, celebrated on may 19, 2018. One detail, however, has surprised the queen… check out which.

The wedding dress of Meghan during her wedding with prince Harry, celebrated two years ago to the day, on may 19, 2018, in the chapel of St. George of Windsor castle, has impressed many observers. The former actress was chosen as a model Givenchy, col bardot to shoulders, signed Clare Waight Keller. It has, however, been raised the eyebrow of the queen. According to information from the Mirror, the monarch would have found the choice of the color of the dress rather surprising given the sentimental to the bride.

Meghan has been married a first time producer Trevor Engelson in 2011. The white at a wedding is a symbol of purity, and for Elizabeth II, obviously, the wife of Harry was not, therefore, enough to wear during the most beautiful day of her life… Remember that queen, 94-year-old, is the guardian of the traditions, Meghan would not make exception to the requirements of the genre. She would have so preferred to see the wife of his grandson wear a hue that is closer to the pale pink or champagne.

A wedding dress to success

The dress of the former actress may be not seduced the queen, she has in any case won the favour of his audience. It has been so successful that replicas have been created, including the fashion designer Shauna Fay, who posted his version is very faithful to the original on his account Instagram. “Our attempt to re-create the look of the bride at the royal wedding. It was made for fun and to showcase all the beautiful women who have worked on this look“, she wrote in the caption.

She even put a model on sale. “We’re not going to recreate the dress’s main marriage. On the other hand, we produce one of the evening. It is available for 700£, on order, available in 6 weeks, “explained Shauna Fay in our columns in may 2018, just days after the royal wedding.
