Kate Middleton attended the wedding of Harry and Meghan on may 19, 2018. She had to face a big dilemma before the ceremony in order to preserve the happiness of his sister-in-law.
It has been two years to the day that Meghan and Harry were married in front of millions of viewers. A wedding worthy of a true fairy tale that took place in the chapel of St. George Windsor castle, in the presence of the entire royal family, and therefore Kate Middleton. The wife of prince William, sister-in-law of Harry, however, wanted to take care to avoid too much to do about it. But then, when one is the wife of the future king of England, and that each output comes with its own set of comments, photos, and some of the titles of specialized press, how to not run the risk of to steal the limelight from the one who lives the most beautiful day of her life ?
Thus, fearing that the observers do not comment on his outfit – what happens to each output of the duchess of Cambridge ! she has chosen, full of kindness, wearing a robe that his audience has already seen. It is a white coat by Alexander McQueen, which she has already worn four times, according to The Mirror – one of them on the occasion of the baptism of his daughter, the princess Charlotte, in 2015.
A strategy that has paid off for Meghan
What better way to recycle an outfit, when it is one of the royal personalities of the most popular, to avoid attracting attention to itself at the wedding of a close friend. Kate Middleton loves this little trick, which she used at several weddings, including those of the cousin of William and Harry, Zara Phillips, and Mike Tindall in 2011, the ceremony of James Hutt and Emily McCorquodale in 2012, or even the wedding of William van Cutsem and Rosie Ruck Keene in 2013.
A strategy that has paid off for Meghan. It must be said that that which was then called the duchess of Sussex was resplendent in a Givenchy dress, signed Clare Waight Keller. A bride sublime and radiant of happiness, which drew all eyes.
