Nyon (Switzerland) – West Ham footballers Vladimír Coufal and Tomáš Souček will face Gent in the quarter-finals of the European Conference League. Souček and the currently injured Coufal can play against former Slavia teammate Michael Ngadeu. The Cameroonian defender joined Gent from the Vršovice club in the summer of 2019. West Ham have won all 10 of their Conference League matches this season, smoothly eliminating Larnaca in the round of 16 after winning 2-0 away and 4-0 at home.
Fiorentina faced Poznań in the Europa League group in autumn 2015. The Italian team then lost 1:2 at their stadium and won 2:0 in Poland. In Lech, Slovak goalkeeper Dominik Holec is visiting from Sparta, who fulfills the role of number two.
If West Ham advance to the semi-finals, they will face the winner of the Anderlecht – Alkmaar match. If Fiorentina succeeds, they will challenge Basel or Nice.
