The first place of the most cheating cities in Chile was Concepción, located 499 kilometers south of Santiago.
A well-known Internet site revealed which are the 10 cities with the most infidels in Chile. According to the registry, most of these locations are located in the center and south of the country.
The platform making this registry known is known as “Ashley Madison”, a well-known social network for married people seeking extramarital affairs. The figures provided by this site revealed that the ranking of the most unfaithful cities in Chile were enumerated by the number of users who registered from said Chilean areas, between June 20, 2021 and September 22 of the same year.
“ The colder weather has arrived and our summary of winter cities shows the most popular destinations in all of Chile for those interested in exploring non-monogamy”, said Christoph Kraemer, director of communications for the site Ashley Madison, adding that “< b>from (the cities of) Iquique to Los Angeles, there are many like-minded people waiting to connect across the country,” he added.
According to the site, The list of the most unfaithful cities in Chile is headed by Concepción, located 499 kilometers south of Santiago. The platform highlighted this place for “its nightlife, its bars and live music”. In second place was the city of Viña del Mar, located 126 kilometers from Santiago, while in third place went to the town of Curicó, 196 kilometers from Santiago.
The most surprising thing is that the capital of Chile, Santiago, with its five million inhabitants, recently appeared in fourth position on the Ashley Madison list.

Although these results appear to be new, it is not the first time that Chile has been placed in a ranking like this. For example, in 2019 a study was released that claimed that it is “the country is the most unfaithful in Latin America”.
The person responsible for generating this ranking was the online platform Second Love, a network of European origin dedicated to connecting people looking to have affairs outside of marriage. At that time around 1 million users were Latin Americans, and Chileans were the most active. Women would be more unfaithful than men and correspond to 61% of all users.
The spokesperson for Second Love Latin America, Matías Lamouret, explained that “Chileans are at the head of those who did it at least three times (26%), followed by Colombians (22%) and Argentines (21%)”.
