Superior engine power ease of driving, handling, more powerful braking and better ergonomics are the strengths of the new YZ125. Designed to be the best choice for emerging riders who want to take their performance to the next level. The advanced specifications clearly demonstrate Yamaha’s will to provide tomorrow’s champions with the best equipment, so that they are ready to fight for victory when they turn pro. In pursuit of ever greater winning performance, the design team built a new 125cc 2-stroke engine, which delivers significantly more power at mid-to-high revs. The head, the cylinder and piston of the YZ125 are completely redesigned, helping to achieve greater performance. The most significant modifications to the cylinder include a remodeled combustion chamber as well as a shorter exhaust port and modified diagram for a noticeable improvement in combustion efficiency. The YZ125 2022 features a thinner tank, a new saddle and modified graphics, which give the bike a radical, modern look to complement the superior performance of the engine, as well as allow the rider to find an optimal riding position.

There new YZ250 features a completely new and streamlined body, which refines its profile to transform it into one of the most dynamic bikes on the track. But the new model is more than just a cosmetic makeover, and the new refined chassis specs include more powerful braking, modified suspension, new lightweight components and a highly efficient intake system. The tank and radiator covers reduce size between the rider’s knees, to increase cornering mobility. The compact structure also creates a feeling of lightness and agility that reinforces the character of the new model. The YZ250’s high specification 48mm SSS KYB front forks and KYB Monocross linkage rear suspension set the industry benchmark. For 2022 the factory setting has been modified to offer even better damping characteristics.

With the new compact body, flatter seat and series of frame modifications, many of the changes on the new YZ85 mirror those seen on the all-new YZ125. The new YZ85, like its big sister, is designed to offer a better and sportier package to riders looking for the victorYZone. The new 2022 style has a close analogy to the higher displacement YZ models, while the new compact body features a strong horizontal theme which, together with the flat seat and redesigned side panels, gives this young rider bike a confident and aggressive stance. The new two-tone colorway features areas of contrast between Icon Blue and dark matte blue, while the new in-mold graphics are designed to withstand many bikes in tough conditions, helping to maintain the look of this racing bike high-tech throughout the season.
