Warsaw – If nothing extraordinary happens, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi will soon go on an official visit to Poland, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna wrote today, citing its sources in Kyiv. According to them, Zelenskyj could go to the neighboring country when US President Joe Biden is there. Neither Warsaw nor Kyiv have confirmed this information.

Since last February 24, the beginning of the Russian invasion, the Ukrainian president has visited four foreign capitals. He first went to Washington last December, and recently he was in London, Paris and Brussels. He visited Poland twice on the way from his diplomatic missions. At the end of both of his trips, he met with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda in the Polish city of Rzeszów, which is located near the border with Ukraine.
Zennik Gazeta Prawna claims that Zelensky's next trip to Poland is already official. “We are finalizing preparations for it,” he quotes his sources from the Ukrainian authorities and states that it is most likely to take place during the stay of the head of the White House in Warsaw or in Rzeszów.
Zelenskyj will most likely present in the presence of Duda and Biden details the peace initiative related to his 10-point peace plan, the paper noted.
Biden will visit Poland from February 20 to 22. He plans to meet with his Polish counterpart Duda and representatives of the other countries of the Bucharest Nine. The Czech Republic is also a member of this group. The topic of the meeting will be, among other things, aid to Ukraine, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre reported last week. On February 24, one year will pass since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
