Prague – Former football representative Adam Hloušek owes over 20 million crowns. The thirty-four-year-old defender from Zlín filed for bankruptcy on behalf of lawyers. Hlušek's biggest creditor is Spartan stopper Ondřej Čelůstka with a claim exceeding 7.6 million crowns, he also has large debts abroad. It was brought to the attention of the iSport.cz website.

Hloušek last played for Zlín last September, after which he was recovering from an injury. The Moravian club suspended his contract, “Ševci” coach Pavel Vrba admitted that he has no idea where the former great talent of Czech football is currently.

“I don't know if he's on the beach or somewhere in Brazil on the beach. I saw him at the beginning (of winter training) and then he disappeared. Since then someone has been looking for him. I don't know who, it's not me,” Vrba said at a press conference after Saturday's league defeat 2:3 with Sparta.

According to the publicly accessible insolvency proposal, Hloušek also has debts from other footballers. He owes Finnish midfielder Kasper Hämäläinen, a former teammate from Legia Warsaw, 224,000 euros (about 5.3 million crowns) and forward Tomáš Necid from Bohemians 1905 an amount of 332,000 crowns. He borrowed smaller amounts from Tomáš Smola or Michal Bezpalec.

Hloušek did not even pay insurance, he owes more than 800,000 crowns to the tax office in taxes, he also has debts from Czech and Polish banks and other institutions. According to the proposal, Zlín paid the full back 96,800 crowns a month until last September, but since then he has only received 12,000 crowns. In Germany he played for Kaiserslautern, Nuremberg and Stuttgart and in Poland for Legia, where he won three titles, and Nieciecz. Hloušek's career was affected by frequent injuries.
