In this first sale, the results were amazing. Because, as quoted from GSM Arena, Saturday (17/4/2021), Xiaomi said it had won 400 million yuan (Rp.891 billion) in one minute.
With this amount, Xiaomi means selling at least 30,000 to 40,000 units Mi Mix Fold. Considering the price of this device is around 10,000 yuan (Rp.22 million) and 13,000 yuan (Rp.28 million).
To note, the Mi Mix Fold has an OLED screen measuring 8.01 inches with aspect ratio 4: 3 when opened. While when folded, smartphone it has a screen span of 6.52 inches.
Xiaomi said it is developing a U-shaped hinge that is 27 percent lighter than a similar hinge in smartphone other folding screen.
The company also claims to have tested the endurance of up to 1 million folds.
Inner screen Mi Mix Fold already supports HDR 10 Plus and Dolby Vision. As for the outer screen, the Mi Mix Fold comes with refresh rate 90Hz and touch sampling rate 180Hz.
