Undoubtedly, Pati Chapoy is one of the benchmarks when it comes to entertainment journalism in Mexico, but recently, the famous host of Ventaneando had suffered a verbal aggression while he was in a shopping center in Mexico City.
It was through the See, Hear and don’t shut up column by Ernesto Hernández, responsible for Public Relations at Ventaneando, where the alleged facts were revealedthat happened a couple of weeks ago.
According to the also reporter, it all happened when he accompanied Chapoy shopping in a mall and later they decided sitting down for coffee in a famous department store.
However, while they were enjoying the moment, a stranger approached and began to offend to the show hostess.

“Suddenly a woman passed by and As soon as he saw her, he began to say out loud: ‘There’s this woman… it’s her fault the country is the way it is’. The statement seemed absurd to me, out of place,” Ernesto recounted.
Pati’s collaborator mentioned that after the incident he was disconcerted and hoped that the bad time would end there, but things they didn’t happen that way.
“The closer she got to the door, screaming and screaming more and more things, she was out of her mind, fired up, mad and then I couldn’t contain myself anymore, I got up from the table and approached her trying to reconcile the matter”, she said.

According to the column, Hernández would have asked the woman to calm down and pointed out that what she was saying made no sense, which increased the spirits of the alleged attacker.

We used all kinds of insults at each other.
By this time, the situation would have escalated to the point that several outsiders were already around to see what was happening and , even,Ernesto commented that the woman’s family was very disconcerted by her attitude.
“Of course her greatest anger was that Pati never approached to catch up with her. you for you with her, is what a true lady does. It was curious how on the other side of the coin, two ladies approached Pati and invited her to her table to protect her, “the reporter wrote.

In the end, The insults continued and the security elements of the place intervened to calm things down, but Hernández said that the guards would have treated him as if he were guilty.
“Nothing was missing to get him to lay a hand on me, which would have meant a formal accusation on my part. In the end I decided to turn around because there seemed to be no end to the matter. I have the name and identity of this person, which I do not I intend to reveal and mu much less put it in evidence, “she said.
It should be noted that so far Pati Chapoy has not ruled on these facts.
