Washington refutes the words of the Cuban authorities that the United States is behind the protests in Cuba, this is a “serious mistake.” This was announced on July 12 at a briefing by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
“I think it would be a serious mistake for the Cuban regime to interpret what is happening in dozens of cities on the island as a result of what the United States has done, it means that they simply do not hear the voices of the people,” said the senior diplomat. His performance was broadcast in Youtube…
According to Blinken, Cubans are tired of the lack of food, political repression and the inadequate response of the authorities of the island state to the coronavirus pandemic.
As the head of American diplomacy emphasized, it was this discontent that resulted in what is happening in Cuba.
