The eighteen year old from Garlate dominates the world championship test on the Dutch circuit of Papendal: for Italy it is the first title in its history. Bmx is an Olympic specialty, and Radaelli, former European champion, is one of the stars of the new blue generation
BMX, an Olympic specialty, is very popular with young people. And now Italy has an eighteen-year-old boy who can aspire to a future as a protagonist in this discipline: his name is Marco Radaelli, 18, he is from Lecco from Garlate and has won the Junior World Championship on the Dutch track of Papendal.
Already European champion at 15 in the youth categories, after the first tests in Holland in recent days he said: “I like the track, every time I ride it I always understand something more and the next time I go better. Emotion? Maybe a little tomorrow, when I find myself at the gate of the street … “. And so Radaelli gave Italy the first world title in history. A good result also for coach Tommaso Lupi, who leads the Azzurri on the Verona track, the federal center of BMX.
