The former American boxer, Mike Tyson, 55, who became the youngest world champion in heavyweight history and twice won the title in this category, is back in Colombia. On the night of Thursday, June 2, a group of fans photographed him as he entered the Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina, north of Bogotá.
The world boxing legend, who had visited the country last October, once again surprised world sports fans when the video went viral in which he appeared with his team entering the luxurious hotel in the northwest of the capital, the same in which the drummer of the rock band Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins, passed away just over two months ago.

“Guess who’s in Colombia? Nothing more and nothing less than Mr. Mike Tyson, who is recording a movie in our country, what a good coincidence”, pointed out the ‘disenocolombiano’ page along with the video of the former champion who has been the protagonist of countless scandals for violence, the last one was in which he appeared in a video beating an airplane passenger.
According to information, which has not been officially confirmed, the world boxing legend would be part of an international production that would be filmed in the national territory, however, this has not been confirmed by the production company or the team of the boxer who visited the Coffee Region at the end of the previous year and caused a stir among flat-nosed sports lovers.
Tyson’s visit to the Coffee Region
Last October, a publication by the American also caused a stir in social networks. In the photograph shared by Iron Mike , his followers began to ask the reason for his visit to the country. Although not yet confirmed, it is said that Tyson would be on the set of a movie.
The American former professional boxer retired in 2005 with an impressive record of 50 wins (44 by K.O.) and only 6 losses.
Several days ago, Tyson was honored with a statue three meters high in Las Vegas. The former boxer, who knew how to become the youngest in history to be proclaimed heavyweight champion, attended the ceremony and took a couple of photos next to his iron replica.
The statue in question is located in front of Mulberry’s Street Pizzeria at Resorts World in Las Vegas (USA), and the former world champion went there to be part of the event: “Well, as you know, I’m from New York and Mulberry Pizzeria is legendary there. I also lived in Beverly Hills and the same thing happened”, said the former athlete.
At the same time, Iron Mikealso had words for the sculptor : “I’ve known Richie since I was a teenager in New York and we’ve always been very close. I’m a little overwhelmed, I feel very humbled right now ”, finished.
