He wrote that in order to close the 11 million-tonne carbon emissions gap, emission reductions are needed in industry, transport and agriculture.
Minister of Transport and Communications of the SDP Timo Harakka came soon to hand out Ohisalo, stating that adequate means had already been found.
“Last week, climate and energy ministers had the means to reduce emissions. Now it is no longer a question of whether we want more tax increases on them, ”Harakka wrote.
The Green Minister of the Environment also joined the discussion Krista Mikkonen, who in turn held out the Magpie.
“Timo noticed that the work of the group of climate and energy ministers remained controversial. That is why the top five here at the Estates House are now looking for consensus on an impressive emission reduction package, ”he wrote.
In the conversation there are probably tax solutions to climate action that have been the subject of disagreement in the negotiations.
Discussions have included discussions on tightening taxation on heating fuels and the abolition of agricultural energy tax rebates.
HS said earlier that the biggest and, according to many sources, the only major controversy over climate action is precisely the taxation of heating fuel.

The Greens want to tax heating fuels because that would be a clear and credible way to eliminate emissions. However, the decision is politically difficult for everyone but the Greens.
In particular, the center has reportedly opposed the tightening of taxation on heating fuels.
It has promised its supporters that there will be no further increases in fuel taxes during this term of government.
Government program in order to achieve the emissions target, the government must decide on measures to reduce emissions by 11 million tonnes of carbon dioxide.
It is important for the Greens that emissions measures are considered sufficiently credible.
However, there have also been reports from the Greens that the government is putting the required climate action together, but in agriculture in particular, action may be too limited. The Left Alliance also considers some of the actions on display to be too loose.
