The authors who shot at the home of the minor under 11 years of age, in the town of Armando Alarcón del Canto de Hualpén on Tuesday afternoon, had the objective of ending the life of a direct relative of the girl, with whom there were previous quarrels related to drug trafficking.

In this direction points the joint investigation of the PDI with the Prosecutor’s Office, aimed at locating and arresting those responsible for the crime against the minor.
Let us remember that a group of criminals shot at two addresses from a moving vehicle, bullets that, in the case of the minor, went through the wall of her house, hitting her while she remained in her bed.
In addition, the blast hit a woman, located in another house, who was wounded twice by a ballistic projectile, who had better luck as she was out of life-threatening.
Territorial conflict between drug gangs in Hualpén
The underlying motive for the criminal action is the territorial dispute between two gangs dedicated to drug trafficking in Hualpén, being the members of one of the groups who attacked the houses where, they deduced, their adversaries resided.
The shots that ended the life of the schoolgirl intended to hit a direct relative of hers, corresponding to a 27-year-old man, who has a police record for drug trafficking. In fact, the young man is currently serving a sentence for the same crime under the modality and benefit of probation.
Furthermore, the investigations of the civil police for this fact would intersect with the investigations carried out by the homicide squad to clarify the crime of a 17-year-old boy, shot in Hualpén, just last Monday.
