Many believe that this he’s not the real Buzz Lightyear. We find ourselves a long way from this. what he looks like in the series of animated films released between 1995 and 2019. And for good reason: this film will feature Buzz, the legendary Space Ranger who inspired the toy as stated in the pitch of the film:

In the trailer, we were surprised not to hear Richard Darbois dub the character. Indeed, it was Alexandre Gillet, the French voice of Chris Evans. Everyone therefore imagined that it would be this actor who would lend his voice for this project. Except no! Ça would be neither Richard Darbois nor Alexandre Gillet, but… François Civil!
The French actorç ais that we have seen in Dix pour cent, Bac Nord or in En Corps will therefore double the character of the Pixar franchise. On the other side of the Atlantic it is still Chris Evans who will give life to; Buzz.
