Guzmn and Cafiero will be part of the team of officials who will welcome the businessmen at Casa Rosada.
Today, Chief of Staff Santiago Cafiero opened the meeting with the businessmen, endorsing the government’s will to “build a frank dialogue to rebuild Argentina,” saying, “If all the efforts of companies and workers go to rock bottom, it will not help.”
The meeting takes place at the Bicentennial Museum, and takes place 24 hours after the meeting between the same interlocutors from the government and the union leadership.
At the beginning of the meeting in which the members of the Economic Council of Ministers and Argentine business leaders participated, the Coordinating Minister noted that “there is no society that is executed only from the state, but there is no society that is executed only from the market.”
In addition to noting that “economic activity is recovering”, Cafiero said that “the entire Argentine export area should be more active.”
He added, “Taking into account the epidemic and the current situation, what we want is to establish a political and social agreement between the various segments of society, and that is why this invitation.”
