Next Sunday, May 29, Colombians will go out to vote to elect the next president. With two days to go before said elections, Google Trends published the list of the most searched questions in Colombia on the platform during the week prior to the elections.
Among the most searched questions are: Where do I have to vote? How do I know if I am a voting jury? When are the presidential elections in Colombia?, How are the elections abroad going?, Who is winning the elections abroad?, How to change my polling place online 2022?, Who will win the elections in Colombia ?, At which table do I have to vote? and How to register the card to vote?
However, the most common question in these last seven days was: “How do I know my polling place? It should be noted that one of the problems that arose the most in the legislative elections of March 13, were the complaints made by some people regarding the problems they had in knowing their voting position. Citizens said that despite not having changed their voting station, when they arrived at the table they used to, they were no longer registered.
For its part, Risaralda is the department that leads the searches on how to know where to vote, followed by Cundinamarca and Antioquia. Bogotá is one of the places with the highest rank of searches on the implementation of the dry law, followed by Cundinamarca and Antioquia.

Of the vice-presidential formulas, Francia Márquez, with 64% of searches, was the one who led the interactions in the search engine, followed by Marelen Castillo Rodolfo Hernández’s partner with 24% of the searches, while Rodrigo Lara, Federico Gutiérrez’s vice-presidential candidate, had 16% of the searches.

Last Thursday, May 26, the Minister of the Interior, Daniel Palacios, reported that some polling stations will be moved. The reason for this change is the heavy rains of recent days and the landslides caused by these precipitations.
The polling places that will be modified are located in North of Santander, Cundinamarca and Guaviare. The other six points that are being evaluated belong to the departments of Cesar, Sucre, Valle del Cauca, Nariño and also Cundinamarca.
