The information was offered by the executive director of the Center for Exports and Investments of the Dominican Republic (ProDominicana), Biviana Riveiro Disla, in a note sent to the media, in which she stated: that the export sector continues to show encouraging results.
Based on the records of the General Directorate of Customs, the official indicated that that in April the value of accumulated exports was US$1,080.8 millions, equivalent to 9.21% year-on-year growth.

He pointed that in relation to export destinations, the US market was characterized by as the destination with the highest growth in exports for the period January-April 2022,with an absolute growth of US$209 million, equivalent to 11.03% growth.
