The contest between Mercedes And Red Bull will restart this weekend from the spectacular setting of Spa-Francorchamps. The Belgian circuit marks the start of the second half of the season, after the summer break. The last races before the break, at Silverstone and in Hungary, saw a reversal of the trend in terms of performance between the two teams competing for the leadership of the standings. As reported by the site Auto Motor und Sport – usually well informed about the events of the Austrian team – Red Bull would in fact intend to bring some aerodynamic updates that allow it to again operate a counter-overtake on the Mercedes in the standings. “On the aerodynamic front we can only expect small things – reads on the German website – only Red Bull has announced that it will design some new parts for the RB16B in order to defeat Mercedes in the title fight.
