In a new step to speed up the access of the largest number of citizens to the emerging corona virus vaccine, the Egyptian Ministry of Health decided to apply a legal punishment towards those who refrain from obtaining the Corona vaccine from the medical system.
According to a letter obtained by the Union, a copy of the decision will be implemented starting next September, as the vaccination of all members of the medical system will be completed at the end of August.
According to the text of the letter, the ministry decided not to enter the Ministry’s General Court employees until after obtaining the new Corona virus vaccine, which it provides through the various centers, especially for its employees, to ensure that the precautionary measures are fully implemented. Egypt has recently witnessed a noticeable increase in the number of new infections with the new Corona virus, as the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until Tuesday, is 286,735, including 236,228 cases that have been cured, and 16,683 deaths.

Khaled Mujahid, Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Information and Awareness, and the official spokesperson for the ministry, stated that 194 new cases were recorded, whose laboratory analyzes were positive for the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures conducted by the ministry, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 7 new cases. .
