Lexus is also accelerating its range electrification strategy. By 2025, the Japanese automaker will launch on the market 10 new electrified models, including plug-in hybrids and pure electric. One of these is represented by the LF-Z Electrified Concept, which should soon be transformed into a series production vehicle: it is expected that the aesthetic and engine details of this model will largely follow those of the reference concept, especially as regards the external and internal style.
Lexus NX changes 95% and is a concentrate of technology
As for performance, the new SUV from the Japanese company will be able to deliver one total power of 536 hp and a maximum torque of 400 Nm, for a sprint from 0 to 100 km / h consumable in just under 4 seconds and a top speed of 200 km / h. Powering the electric motor installed will be a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery, which will guarantee a range of about 600 kilometers. The overview of the technical specifications will be completed by the Steer-by-Wire system and the new Direct4 all-wheel drive with advanced torque vectoring functions. And even if it will not be Lexus’ first 100% electric model, a record that belongs to the UX 300e, the new Japanese SUV will have something to boast about: it will be the first model of the brand to be developed on the dedicated e-TNGA platform.

For the new LF-Z Electrified, as well as for all future Lexus electrified models, the Japanese automaker is planning to leverage the experience of the next models.
