Marileidy Paulinowon comfortably the second semifinal of the 400 meters and qualified for the 400 meters. for the final at the XIX Ibero-American Championships in Alicante, Spain.

Santos, another double silver medalist at the Olympic level, won their respective semifinals. the first semifinal with a time of 46.47, while Feliz, Olympic silver medalist in Tokyo 2020, managed to win. a time of 45.71 in the second semifinal.
A total of 21 Dominican athletesare participating in this edition of the Championship, which includes the participation of 502 athletes from 24 countries and that has Ukraine as a guest.
