Mazzarri returns to Serie A: three-year contract for the former Inter and Napoli
Walter Mazzarri is the new coach of the Cagliari with which he signed a three-year contract. The 60-year-old Tuscan coach ex Napoli, Inter and Turin takes over Leonardo Semplici, exonerated after just three days (home draw against Spezia then defeats at San Siro against Milan and 2-3 against Genoa) despite the salvation won last season. It is the second change of coach in Serie A: in the past few hours the Verona called Igor Tudor instead of Eusebio Di Francesco.
