It is worth remembering that Uribe was chosen as the mayor in charge of Medellín from a list presented by the movement Independientes, which took Quintero to La Alpujarra, and which was completed by the Secretary of the Government, María Camila Villamizar Assaf, and the Secretary of Supplies and Services, Karen Delgado Manjarrés.
The candidates were interviewed by the Minister of the Interior, Diego Palacios, and Uribe was selected, who was appointed by Palacios and President Iván Duque.
