The game festival has just ended Modena Play 2021, with a good success with the public but also at an organizational level thanks to the attention paid by the managers of ModenaFiere, who have set up the place now in its twelfth edition.
Comic and game conventions are still on a kind of bet, Right now. Despite the concern about a possible regrowth of infections due to the Delta variant, we are trying to focus on the organization for this type of events, taking all necessary precautions.
The three days of the Play were a great test, managing to combine the public’s desire to have fun with the entrepreneurial creativity of companies in the sector. Now, after three days we can say “It can be done” without in any way distorting the spirit that animates Plya since its first edition.
Furthermore, with regard to the successful organization of the event by Modena Fiere, the general manager Marco Momoli described how they found themselves with the shorter times than usual, but still obtaining an excellent result.
Despite this, things went well, achieving a success that is primarily the result of excellent teamwork. Also for this I would like to thank the many exhibitors and visitors who believed in the project, the sponsors, associations, institutions and my staff.
We can assert that the Modena Play 2021 was a successful test case, in view of other events and conventions in the pipeline (such as the new edition of Romics), which we hope will achieve equally positive results.
