Neighbors from the Poñen sector accused Radio Bío Bío of the seizure during the This Friday afternoon and tonight the mayor himself confirmed what happened. Today’s episode is added to another of the same characteristics that occurred on Thursday.
This Friday afternoon, residents of the Poñen sector of Florida, Bío Bío region, accused that once again an undetermined group of people took land that had previously been evicted by the police.
In messages denouncing Radio Bío Bío, the residents accused that they were again foreigners.
“First they came like 50, now there are many more. We will be grateful to all the residents of Poñen for spreading this around”, one of them told this outlet.

During tonight, after consultations with La Radio, Mayor Jorge Roa confirmed that the seizure did indeed occur.
“Today, around 6:00 p.m., an undetermined group of people broke into the Poñen sector“, said the community chief, who ratified previous expulsions.
“The police are aware of this, they will surely proceed as they did in previous days”, he commented.
Roa was critical of this type of occupation and indicated that facts of this nature “complicate them a lot” as a commune.
“This attracts crime and other things that we are not available to put up with here”, he launched.
“Tomorrow we are going to get into Contact the police and the owners of these spaces so that the law prevails. Our commune will never lend itself to this type of situation”, closed the mayor of Florida.
