If prince Harry wants to stay permanently in the United States, he will have to go through a process very precise. And the young dad could ask for help to Meghan Markle, if he wants to become an american.
For several weeks, prince Harry, his wife, Meghan Markle, their son Archie, and their two dogs reside in California, in the United States. The whole family is confined, away from prying eyes, and enjoy time spent together as of late, on the first anniversary of little Archie. After having elected Canada as a home, so it is now in a californian villa that prince Harry and Meghan Markle are living.
But then how many times the royal couple will he stay in the city of Angels ? It is Impossible to know, however, if prince Harry wants to stay in the U.s. permanently, he will have to follow a detailed process, including, for example, to pass a driving test specific to California, open a bank account and make a request in person for a social security number. And given that most offices are closed because of the outbreak of Coronavirus, all these steps are complicated to undertake for the moment.
A need of sponsor
A close source told the Times that, in “the near future”, prince Harry would not seek to become a permanent resident of the United States, nor to get a green card ; invaluable tool that allows non-us citizens to live and work in the United States permanently. Nevertheless, if ever the duke of Sussex wants to become american, he could totally. All the more that he is married to an american citizen, Meghan Markle, and the two have a child, who has dual nationality british-american. In this case, Meghan Markle could become the sponsor of prince Harry. A completely possible, but nevertheless that would take two years to come to fruition, as reported in the british version of Marie Claire.
