Auto Sono Motors partners with Continental to develop this amazing car.

The Sion, whose production should start in the second half of 2023, is a vehicle electric not quite like the others. Its hull is made up of 456 solar cells which should provide enough power for short trips. The total autonomy is announced at 305 km, with a 54 kWh battery. According to Sono Motors, which will build the car, users should charge their Sion until four times less often than a conventional electric car.

To develop the Sion, Sono Motors s&rsquo ;is associated with to Continental, which supplies the engine and the software, but also the connectivity systems; and autonomous driving. Despite a price that should not exceed 25,000 euros, Sion will provide some new features, such as an intelligent access device that recognizes the user approaching the vehicle, opens the gates and starts low voltage systems.
