American novelist and master of horror Stephen king (Stephen King) commented on the statement of many people who compare the pandemic coronavirus with his novel “Confrontation”.
King noted that he was very sorry that people are experiencing themselves as if they were in his book. He admitted that he was uncomfortable because he too clearly “prophesied” the future Americans, however, this situation, in his opinion, was inevitable.

“I try not to compare cov with supergripper from my novel. But the pandemic was supposed to happen sooner or later,” said king. He also said that now was inspired by the quarantine and writes a new novel, which helps “to cope with fear”.
