Broadway actor Nick Cordero is recovering from the amputation of his right leg, which had to make due to complications of coronavirus.
Broadway star nominated for Tony award, is struggling with the coronavirus for more than two weeks. His wife, Amanda Kloots, keeps fans informed of the status of Nika, sharing the news about his health in his Instagram.

Saturday was the 18th day, which Nick Cordero spent in the ICU. During hospitalization, he started to have problems with blood clotting in his right leg. According to Amanda Kloots, blood thinners, who gave him the doctors to fix the problems with the coagulation, affected his blood pressure and caused internal bleeding in the intestines.
Nick Cordero was hospitalized in the medical center Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles (California), where he lives with his family, speaking in “Rock of Ages”.
“He was on blood thinners, but, unfortunately, these drugs caused other problems – written by Amanda on Saturday. – Right leg amputated today.”
Cloots launched the hashtag #wakeupnick to Instagram and asked fans to send in videos on how they dance and ask nick to Wake up. Later on Saturday she shared the news that his surgery went well.
“Now he is very weak, – said the wife of actor. – I hope he’s just blowing off a little steam and relax”.
Friends of the couple have started a campaign on GoFundMe to help the family pay medical bills and provide a home for nick’s wheelchair.
“I’m really excited, guys… thanks to all of you, ‘said Amanda. – It’s just stunning, I don’t know how to thank you”.
