Martínez took Bonilla’s place and put his phone on speakerphone, close to the microphone. “A greeting. Congratulations, Jesús Martínez , for promoting soccer in León, Pachuca and throughout the country, ”said López Obrador.
The Tabasco president, with his particular way of speaking, stressed that sport is a great alternative for the population . He recalled that, in these times of health emergency due to COVID-19 , exercise is a good way to prevent diseases.

“How good that football is being promoted. Sports are an alternative. People who exercise , who eat well, get sick less now that we are suffering from the pandemic, ”said the head of state.

After the pause of the chief executive, Martínez thanked him for the support of the health authorities. This is because most of the competitions organized by the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) returned to activity.
