Nobody could save her
Found the body of the lifeless 12 year old girl who disappeared in Vieste a few hours earlier. The waves that day were very high and she was in the sea with two other younger kids. When they got into trouble, some people intervened, managing to save everyone but her. The sea took her away. The mayor of the city in the province of Foggia, in Puglia, gave the sad announcement.

The tragedy took place on the morning of Monday 5 July. The girl of suns 12 years was at sea a Vieste, on the Gargano. She wasn’t alone in the water. Around 10.30 the teenager had decided to swim in Marina Piccola with two cousins of 8 and 10 years.
