The Nintendo switch OLED will arrive in the United States and a large part of the international market on October 8. However, in Mexico and Latin America the story will be different. The long-awaited console will be available in our region on an unspecified date.
According to a Nintendo representative for Mexico, The new model of the Switch will be available in our country at some point during the Christmas season. At the moment there is no exact date or suggested price. Regarding the rest of Latin America, the Big N does not yet offer a launch window for the console.
Considering that the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S arrived in Mexico on par with the rest of the world, the fact that Nintendo decides to launch the OLED Switch at a later date is a rather strange decision, although it is very likely that the limitations of the pandemic are responsible on this occasion.
