A statement issued by the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Khartoum was calling for an end to the “aggressions” against Sudan for the “purposes of specific personalities and groups.”
The Sudanese Foreign Ministry clarified that the country will not allow the exploitation of its lands, and that “Sudan has no intention of invading the lands of others.”
The statement indicated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs followed up “with regret the misleading statements attributed to the Ethiopian army, regarding the allegation that an armed group entered the Sudanese border to target an Ethiopian facility.”
The ministry stated that it denounces “such statements that are baseless and have a blatant purpose aimed solely at political consumption.”

Khartoum affirmed its full commitment to the principles of good neighborliness and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries.
The ministry added that the Ethiopian government used to “repeatly insert the name of Sudan whenever its internal situation worsens.”
Call for a change of strategy
Meanwhile, the media advisor to the President of the Sudanese Sovereign Council, Al-Taher Abuhaga, told “Sky News Arabia” that the Sudanese leadership is keen to achieve peace and stability between Sudan and Ethiopia.
Abu Haja added that Ethiopia should change its strategy in dealing with Sudan, adding that Khartoum addresses all outstanding issues with Ethiopia through dialogue and legitimate legal methods.
Al-Taher Abu Haja said that the head of the Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, affirmed that the stability of neighboring countries is one of the main objectives of Sudanese security.
